HERE IT IS
No expense is spared here at thumping the tub (well, I bought some blank Cds and took a taxi).

I hereby present the first movie made by thumping the tub

I hope it is not too amateur.

If you like it you can download perfect quality here

Good show guys! Keep 'em coming. Not bad for a first film. Where'd you find that song?

Here are some "interesting" tunes by none other than Rev. Phelps' spawn at the Westboro Baptist Church. Ugh.

I dig it. I can only judge it this way: you kept my attention, fascinated me, and made me laugh at the horror ... like I said, I dig it.

there are british equivalents of that tune which all seem to revolve around meeting in cafes in berlin once the war is won. odd.

anyway, i heard the tune when it was used on the credits of an excellent film called 'we interrupt this empire' whic you can watch here

That is pretty good, thanks for the pointer. I'm not acquainted with the tools, but I'd be curious how long that took you.

And make sure you submit it to the Huffington Post's "contagious festival."

    http://cf.huffingtonpost.com/

That'll get it out there to a much broader audience very quickly.

Plus, if you poke around the other entries it might give you ideas, both technical and creative.

I always try to add something.

    Mike

I'm looking forward to your next film, even if she isn't. Critics...sheesh.

Great work. I especially liked the bit about newspapers, which for sheer comic genius must rival Protect and Survive's advice about sheltering behind doors and painting windows white.

Very nice; very slick! The cheerful retro tone of the 'Praise God...' song lends a nice ironic touch. Whoever wrote or performed it was obviously blind to how sick and twisted it comes across to anyone not blinded by war fever.

Michael: For some reason (probably a liberal conspiracy) I can't seem to view your flick. I'll try again soon...if there's anything at all to the "theory of evolution" (I doubt it) my computer will evolve to the point that it can handle the streaming data.

  • How Far Is It From Here to Nuremberg
  • This is my attempt at a video for the excellent, if worrying, David Rovics (see links) song

  • What You Like
  • I believe the word for this is "splenetic". Only 20 seconds long.

  • Imperial Measures
  • What is going on in Iraq? Some things you knew, some you didn't. A couple of bits of info are out of date now.

  • Wish You Were Here
  • Wish You Were Here is a 6 minute film about the unprecendted rate of animal extinction we are currently experiencing

  • Gorillas and us
  • I don't like creationism, neither did Douglas Adams

The inaugural 'Arse of the month' award goes to our very own Scottish First Minister Jack (Joke) McConnell. He seems to spend a lot of his time sucking up to english politicians and yet it appears they don't even know his name. Follow the link to see..
